2. Kinsale Capital Management Funds
Kinsale Capital was awarded the prestigious EuroHedge Global Equity Fund of the Year 2013 Award, having previously been nominated as New Fund of the Year – Equities in 2012. Following its selection for the EuroHedge Awards 2014, 2015 and 2016, the Firm has now been nominated for five consecutive years.
Kinsale Capital launched Kinsale Compass Fund, a Global Equity Value Fund, in November 2011.
Kinsale Compass Fund is managed by Peter Kinney, a seasoned investment manager with a world-class track record.
Kinsale Compass Fund is up 84.98% after all fees since inception in November 2011.* This return has been achieved with an average cash holding of 38%.
Kinsale Capital launched a new Global Equity Value Fund, Kinsale Navigator Fund, in April 2014.
The Fund is managed by Pierre Py of First Pacific Advisors. Pierre is an experienced value investor. Prior to joining FPA, Pierre worked with renowned value investment firm Harris Associates and also with Goldman Sachs.
The Fund aims to provide above average capital appreciation over the long-term while attempting to minimise the risk of capital loss.
Kinsale Capital's Long/Short Equity Fund, the Kinsale Harbour Fund, was a top performing hedge fund in its class in Ireland during the collapse of markets in 2007 and 2008, protecting capital through strong and decisive asset allocation decisions.
